The objectives of this training is to provide knowledge about the National Codes of Ethics, CASAC Canon of Ethical Principles, ethical concerns during evaluation and Cultural Competency. Students will learn about obligations and consequences of violating codes of ethics, ethical pitfalls that can arise in the counselor-client relationship, confidentiality, privileged communication and privacy, resolving ethical issues and workplace standards – supervision and consultation.
